Relationship to the Council:

Membership of the Council and CHPS is one and the same.

Status of Governance:

CHPS is a 501c-4 corporation (applied for and awaiting 501c-3 status). All 12 seats of the member Board are filled. Five seats recently filled by new members during the DRIS Initiative to include broader community representation and public health.

Provider Network in the community includes to date:

Mercy Medical at Mt. Shasta and Fairchild Memorial Hospitals, loosely affiliated County primary care and specialty physicians, tertiary relationships with regional hospitals and medical teaching institutions.
