Troy Soenen, Thank You and Farewell

Troy Soenen, Local Coordinator for DRIS in the Indian Wells Valley, Ridgecrest (IWV), departed at the end of July to follow his wife to Las Vegas where she will start a new teaching position in the fall. Troy, who has a bachelor’s degree in health education, performed a superb job as the DRIS Local Coordinator. Starting in April of 1997 with very little exposure to managed care or integrated health care systems, Troy was quick to understand the significance of the DRIS Initiative objectives and was soon able to be an effective spokesperson in the community for the project. He provided diligent, organized support to the IWV Community Health Council and the DRIS Consultant team. We will all miss his talents and conscientious commitment. Thank you and good luck, Troy.
