D. Payer Mix
The response to this question appears to be a best guess as the summary of
primary care responses indicate that 109 percent of their payer distribution is obtained
from Medi-Cal, Medicare, Self-pay and other categories. Refer to Table 9.6. Similarly, the
summary of specialists responding to the surveys answered that 97 percent of their payer
distribution came from these same resources. Refer to Tables 9.6 and 9.7.
